Paul S. Gentile, PE, PhD
When I was a kid we lived on a canal with our family boat docked right out back, and ever since those days I have been drawn to the water and outdoor sports. From fly fishing in Glacier National Park at sunrise to bow hunting by canoe along the Missouri River, I love a good adventure. Today I am fortunate to get to share these kinds of experiences with my wife and two daughters.
With the same passion for the outdoors I have also pursued engineering. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in Montana and have a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Montana State University. Throughout high school and college I worked as a carpenter where I developed an appreciation for practicality and fine woodworking skills. As a professor and research engineer at Montana State University I specialized in composite materials, computer aided engineering, and thermodynamics. I have worked as a professional consultant on a variety of materials and energy engineering projects for the public and private sectors.
