Hyde High Side Drift Boat

This completely restored '98 Hyde drift boat package is a great option for those looking to get out on the water immediately at a great price.  The increased footprint allows the boat to float in extremely shallow water while maintaining the performance for which Hyde is known. The high sides offer safer and drier rowing when boating on bigger waters like the Yellowstone River or for families.  The modular seating allows you to configure the setup differently depending on the day's adventure.  Lots of storage for extended trips.

Complete Ready to Fish Package Includes:

Used set of 9' Hyde Magnum oars, used Carlisle Spare 2-Piece Oar, new Sawyer Cobra oar locks, 4 new life jackets, complete anchor system, used cover, 2 sets of drain plugs, tie down straps.

Multiple seating options are included.  There are 3 benches that can be removed quickly. The rower's and rear benches each hold one seat, and the front bench holds 1 or 2 seats.  The front also has a pedestal seat mount with a quick disconnect system.

Aluminum rails run from fore to aft along each side, providing continuous t-slots for sliding the benches to your preferred position and attaching accessories like the anchor system, rod holders, tool trays, magnetic clips, phone and camera mounts, etc.

Restoration Work Completed 2023: 

The bottom was professionally refinished with a marine epoxy gel coat, primed and then coated with HullSpeed Smart Armor.  HullSpeed® Smart Armor is designed to protect your boat while maximizing efficiency and ease of hull cleaning. The added durability and abrasion resistance of Smart Armor allows you to get in, and out, of more places without damaging your hull. The hard/slick surface also helps prevent the adhesion and transfer of aquatic invasive species. 

The interior was refinished, primed and painted.  The rower's deck is made from solid white oak, laminated with fiberglass in a clear epoxy, and coated with a clear UV protectant.  CNC carved in the wood is a map of the Missouri Headwaters from Three Forks south along the Madison, Gallatin, Jefferson, and Boulder Rivers.  Front and rear decks are fiberglass laminated over a marine closed cell foam, primed with an epoxy barrier coat, and painted with a marine urethane. Recycled rubber particles are embedded for traction that is soft under foot.

Steel Hyde drift boat trailer was sandblasted, primed and painted with an industrial urethane.  It was completely rewired using marine grade watertight fittings, new 4-pin assembly, and all new lighting.  Includes a spare tire, new trailer tire mount, new winch strap, and a new swing away trailer jack.
